Our mission is for Camphill Community Mountshannon to be a lifesharing community made up of adults in need of special care, co-workers and volunteers. To provide a full range of support as a HIQA designated Residential Centre and to offer residential supported living, training in traditional crafts plus day care activities. Our approach is based on person centred planning, promoting personal development processes, providing social, therapeutic, educational and work support and developing opportunities in our local and wider communities.

Our vision is that Camphill Community Mountshannon strives to be a diverse, modern, vibrant and healthy community of mutual support in Ireland, integrated into our wider community and open to people of all abilities. We work in a spirit of renewal and progression inspired by the insights of Spiritual Science, Anthroposophy and the Camphill movement world wide. We work together in collaborative, ethical, sustainable and environmentally friendly ways that recognise and respect the unique physical, soul and spiritual nature of each human being.
