Mountshannon is a short drive away from Scariff on the shores of Lough Derg. We are within easy reach of Ennis and Limerick, so there are many options within a very short distance. The village has pubs, cafés, two churches, a creche and national school. It also has a park and a labyrinth, as well as a beautiful harbour with views of Holy Island, island trips, a swimming and picnic area, a small weekly market and an annual Arts Festival. There are regular music sessions in the pubs and the ‘craic’ is mighty!
